The bit worth reading twice if you print your codes
Uniqode's help centre states that if you exceed your plan's scan limit, your QR codes “become inactive” and people can no longer reach the linked content. That risk applies to a code already printed on a menu, a poster, or packaging you can't recall.
ScanOrbit never deactivates a QR code for hitting a usage limit. Paid plans have no scan cap at all. Even on the free plan, going past 500 scans in a month only stops us counting further scans that month. The code itself keeps resolving, so nothing you've printed ever stops working because of a quota.
